“I looked to my grandparents as good role models – I would talk to them and glean their advice. Today, I still value working with my older patients, hearing and learning from their experiences”
As early as his residency, Dan Stein, MD, already knew he enjoyed working with older people. And that goes beyond providing medical care.
As a doctor in Internal Medicine, working with older populations became a natural part of Dan’s practice and work. Throughout his career, Dan has served in a breadth of healthcare leadership roles, including as a medical director at Twin Cities hospice care organizations, as well as other nursing and care centers. Now, Dan brings that vast experience to Consultative Health and Medicine.
“The Consultative Health staff and I share a common philosophy of comprehensive, compassionate care. That not only brings a kinship among us, but continuity of care for our patients,” says Dan.
“What’s more, that philosophy is shared by the providers we work with in the facilities. I see why our team is so well respected and sought out. It’s an assessment of Consultative Health’s quality and responsiveness,” he adds.
While not working with our team and patients, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching sports.
