Bree Jensen, Consultative Health and Medicine’s newest team member, had been a nurse for 12 years at Stanford University Medical Center in California when she decided to take her nursing education to a new level. A critical care nurse at the time, Bree had seen too many older adults admitted to the intensive care unit after suffering from what could have been a preventable condition or event.
Those experiences led Bree, a St. Paul native, to look for ways to expand her scope of practice. She moved back to the Twin Cities, along with her husband and two children, in pursuit of her doctorate of nursing practice, focusing on adult gerontology.
