Kati Davis is the latest addition to the Consultative Health and Medicine family, joining the group in spring 2020.
Taking care of people comes naturally to Davis.
“I remember taking those ‘What career is right for me?’ tests in high school, and nursing always came up,” she says. She adds that her entire nursing career has been spent working with geriatric populations.
“It’s a special stage in people’s lives. Developing relationships with these patients and their families, being open about discussing end-of-life options, and helping work through difficult decisions is very rewarding.”
When the opportunity to join Consultative Health presented itself, Kati was very familiar with the practice, and jumped at the chance to work with the team. She says the Consultative Health physicians and nurse practitioners demonstrate true compassion and care, striving to forge real relationships with patients and loved ones.
Of course, that was challenged during the pandemic stay-at-home order, but Davis recently transitioned back into buildings after a few months of providing telehealth visits and talking with families by phone. She looks forward to welcoming more families back to in-person visits with their loved ones, and is excited to work with patients face-to-face.
Davis also enjoys a busy life outside of work. She and her husband have three active boys (and two fish) and she enjoys fitness, biking, theater and movies.
